Knowing When To Take A Break

This business of writing, trying to get published and marketing takes up a lot of thankless time. Time when you don't see the fruits of your labor for many many days.

GOALS

Setting goals is a great way to map out what you want to accomplish. Dream big, it's okay, this is where you get to.

Then break up your goal list. Like, what's attainable now, soon, and later.

TIMING

This is where you realize that squeezing too much into a day, month, or year can burn you. Space things out to be realistic.

PLAN TIME FOR BREAKS

Give yourself vacations from meeting goals, writing, and everything. It's nice to have mini-breaks where you get to sleep in, goof off, and relax.

DO YOU KNOW WHEN TO TAK A BREAK?

So well said. And I also think taking breaks helps you not only assess where you want to go, but how far you've come. :) And as old school as it sounds, you have to enjoy the ride! :)
